Course Description

Learn basic/intermediate jewelry fabrication and metal arts. You will learn to design and create your own rings, earrings, bracelets, pendants, and metal arts. Skills covered include sawing/cutting, filing, soldering, finishing, and basic bezel setting. The instruction will be oriented towards beginners but you are welcome to work on your own pieces and recieve additional support for more advanced projects. First time students must attend the first class for safety discussion and materials list. Brass, copper, some small stones, and basic tools are included in the materials price to complete 1-2 projects. Additional metals and materials are available for purchase.
